BMBC Organisation and Workforce Development Service

Our Adult Social Care: Better Lives Programme, supports us to deliver our vision with our citizens and workforce, aligned to our ambition to "work with people to identify their strengths and helps them realise their potential to live healthy, safe and independent lives in their communities". In 2022, in conjunction with local partners, we launched our Proud to Care Academy which is helping to address short and long-term health and care workforce challenges, ensuring these are aligned to regional and national health and social care workforce strategies. This includes working closely with our independent care sector and partners to deliver a training and development offer that creates and promotes career pathways across health and social care.
