North Yorkshire County Council (NYCC)
North Yorkshire Councils (NYC) Training and Learning (T&L) Service is dedicated to providing the adult social care workforce with a range of high quality training, learning and development interventions, linked to care priorities and supporting a culture of learning throughout the sector. Our training and learning courses support the entire workforce; from those new and entering the sector, through to those leading and managing it. Learning interventions will be based on real needs; utilising a range of methodologies, actively engaging learners, encouraging learning to take place, and to challenge, excite and stimulate all learners. We ensure our training is relevant and comes alive for the learners participating, and we always value and respect the learners and the roles they undertake. We adopt blended approaches to learning to ensure knowledge, understanding and skills development.
